History of Professional Soccer in Minnesota   United Soccer Leagues, Inc. (formerly USISL) (1986-Present)   NSC Minnesota - 2010 USSF Second Division Before the season, a group of teams broke away trying to start a new league (NASL). A brokering effort by USSF resulted in a split decision, with USSF Administering a USL/NASL season of 6 teams each.
